Various Christian groups asked the precious Coalition government to allow Christians who are being persecuted in overseas nations to come as migrants to Australia. This was particularly relevant for Christians in some of the Middle East countries that have Muslim majorities.

With progressive thanksgiving and great excitement we continue to bring the wonderful report of dwelling in God’s Awesome Presence at the Holy Spirit Revival meetings of salvation, healing and deliverance! Now into its 7th week, thousands from across Australia (and a few overseas visitors) have come to these meetings to meet with the Lord, to be mightily changed - touched, revived, refreshed, renewed and set on fire for God!

As the Melbourne meetings continued over the weekend, Pastor Danny visited Sydney and spoke in Blacktown at a Catch The Fire/Rise Up Australia Prayer and Revival meeting and then in the Blue Mountains NSW, at a Mighty Men of God Conference.

Pastor Danny reports: “The Fire of God mightily fell at both meetings. The CTFM meeting saw many people healed physically as well as spiritually. A wonderful miracle in Sydney was a woman who was 80% deaf in both ears and could not hear clearly at all without hearing aids. As I prayed she received her healing instantly no longer needing her hearing aids. As people watched this healing their faith was enlarged; they were mightily moved by the Presence and Power of God, many flocking to the altar for an impartation from the Lord God Almighty, hungry for Him and drinking from His River of Life. Dear Danny Jason and faithful servants

My son James and I (Rose) are travelling back to Canberra after 3nights in Melbourne specifically to attend Catch The Fire meetings at Hallam. After leaving home in ACT at 8:3oam Fri 11th July and different public transport James and I finally arrived at Hallam railway station at 9pm to a cheer squad who transported us straight to revival meeting. People were lining up for prayer. James and I were introduced to Danny and Jason as Canberra people. After about 10 mins in the prayer line Danny prayed for me, and did I get a blast in the Holy Spirit.  I experienced such a powerful shaking in the Lord, more powerful than I’ve ever known before. Later that night l was standing next to an entire Muslim family, they had all just received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. we were all so excited, After giving the mother a hug I danced in celebration with the 3 Muslim children. THE Pope has christened Australia the “great southern land of the Holy Spirit” and urged young people troubled by the state of the world to seek answers in faith.

Pope Benedict made the comments in his official message to Australians and to pilgrims for World Youth Day, released to The Sunday Telegraph to coincide with his arrival today for the week-long Catholic youth festival.

The Pope’s plane, Shepherd One, touched down in Darwin for a brief refuelling stop shortly after 9am ACST (9.30am AEST).  After picking up Darwin’s bishop, who brought the pontiff a painting of an Aboriginal Madonna and child, the flight to Sydney resumed.

Expressions of praise, worship and adoration were evident as the people of God came together to give thanks for all that He is, among them in His manifest goodness, glory and love!  The Spirit of God is truly making His presence felt at Hallam in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, dwelling with those who gather with hungry hearts to meet with their Maker.  The Lord is continually given all the glory as He supernaturally heals, creatively restores, and releases hope to so many, through lifting depression, oppression, and setting many into His glorious liberty! How gracious is our Almighty Heavenly Father!

This morning a young lady (who has been attending the Revival meetings regularly) called in to the office to collect some more brochures, explaining that due to the motivation received through the Revival meetings, she has now chosen to catch the train to work so she can evangelise and share Jesus on the way!  She is on fire with God’s love and passion to see those in the prisons of darkness come into the joy of knowing Jesus personally and living the life of Christ in an abundant and fulfilling way. She said, “At first it was scary, but most people really are open to hearing about Jesus – and we just need to get over the fear that they may not want to know.” Her face was radiating God’s love, alight with joy, as she bubbled over sharing this testimony with me! Explosive: The Lord Chief Justice’s endorsement of Sharia law has already created huge controversy

The most senior judge in England yesterday gave his blessing to the use of sharia law to resolve disputes among Muslims.

Lord Chief Justice Lord Phillips said that Islamic legal principles could be employed to deal with family and marital arguments and to regulate finance.

He declared: ‘Those entering into a contractual agreement can agree that the agreement shall be governed by a law other than English law.’

What a mighty God we serve! The revival meetings are into the 3rd week and people are beginning to travel from distant places to soak in His presence. Some said, “We’ve been use to only 15 minutes for worship, but now we worship God for hours and it seems not enough.” What an amazing statement, but then through worship (being in the presence of God) people have encountered healing and lives have been radically changed in the past 18 days.

Hungry souls continue to be healed, delivered and set free with many lives being surrendered to Jesus for the very first time. In the last 3 days, 2 ladies suffering with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) have been healed by the power of God. Both could hardly walk, but as God touched them they began to run – so exciting to witness as God reveals His power to heal. Central African Republic (MNN) – A JESUS film team responded to an epidemic of witchcraft in the Central African Republic by “soaking” villages in the region of Bossangoa with the Gospel.  They walked from village to village and showed the JESUS film every night. Eighteen new churches have been planted as a result.
